• First stage travel: Enough take-up to avoid accidental discharge, but not so much it feels sloppy
• Second stage weight: A crisp 400–600g pull suits most shooters and improves shot release
• Blade position: Adjust fore/aft for a natural, consistent finger placement

Fill Pressure and Shot String Management

The R10 SE fills to 232 bar. For the most consistent strings, top up at around 200 bar rather than waiting for the pressure to drop to the rifle's cutoff point. This keeps you firmly in the regulated band throughout your session.

Shoot a full chronograph string when you first set up your rifle to find the usable shot count — the flat portion of the power curve. Mark the low-pressure point on your gauge with a piece of tape so you always know when you're approaching the end of a useful fill.
